The Book Station
Please note on your calendar, the next Book Sale will be for two days during the Winter Fair, January 30 and 31. There will not be a sale January 3 or February 7.

Electronic Devices as Gifts
Please consider the following when giving an electronic device (MP3 player, tablet or e-reader): How might the recipient use the device – reading e-books or listening to audio books? Will the device be registered with the company in the recipient’s name? What kind of training/instruction might the individual need to operate the device? Does the recipient have an email address? If giving a simple e-reader, does the individual own a personal computer?

If you are a recipient of a new device and want to use MontanaLibrary2Go, please be prepared with the following before seeking a library staff person’s help: Have the device registered in your name and know any passwords needed for downloading apps. Have a functioning email address. Know how to navigate around on the device and be sure batteries are fully charged. If the device cannot download apps, you will need a personal computer with internet access to download software.

5th Annual Chili Bowl Coming
Gather your team of no more than eight for a rousing evening of food, friends and fun, chili and trivia, that is. The Chili Bowl will be held at Jack’s Hangar on Friday, January 23, 2015. Please pre-register your team but you may purchase your tickets at the door. A $10.00 ticket includes a complete chili dinner and an entry fee for one person. This fundraiser benefits the Lewistown Public Library’s Summer Reading Program and has become a fun event to look forward to during those cold winter months. Get those thinking caps on!

Baby—Pre-school Story Time
Story Times for Babies & Toddlers, and Pre-school & Kindergarten-aged children are generally held each Friday at 10:15 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Babies and Toddlers meet with Nancy Bostrom in the upstairs meeting room. The older children meet with Lora Poser-Brown in the downstairs youth area. The next story time will be January 9, 2015.
