Talking Books Library
What is it?
The Montana State Library offers services for people with vision loss, physical limitations, or a reading disability.
Who is it for?
People use the Talking Books Library for lots of different reasons, both long-term and short-term. For example, you might use this service if you have low vision, dyslexia, or are recovering from a stroke.
Examples of Services
- Audiobook and braille book loans, mailed free of charge
- Free equipment loans, including talking-book players and refreshable Braille displays
- Access to an online Braille and Audio Reading Download (BARD) Service through your phone or computer

To get started, fill out the online application for services through the Montana Talking Books Library or stop by the Library.
