Archives and Reference

We provide access to historical photos, documents, maps, newspaper microfilm, and family history information. Many of our archives can be accessed freely online through the Montana History Portal.

Archives can only be accessed with permission and supervision from our librarians. Contact us to schedule a visit.

With your library card, you can also access online family history resources on HeritageQuest.

For in-depth genealogy searches, please contact the Central Montana Genealogy Society.
