Getting the Year Started with a Laugh!

You might think being a stereotypical librarian is easy but really it has taken me three tries to get this blog written as I keep thinking of “books” we have here in the library to suggest you read; and you are looking for “electronic resources” to enjoy. My favorite author, Nevil Shute, has several ebooks in our card catalog and he is a great storyteller so everyone should try one of his.

Laughing is good exercise but it is difficult to recommend humorous books because funny is subjective. However, I think that we all need to lighten up a bit and so this is my list of funny. Is it humorous or just strange only you can be the judge. Okay, you checked and the last two authors on my list don’t have ebooks in our catalog. Well they might soon as we are always adding new titles. In the meantime, you are always welcome to come into the library and check out books or even some funny movies on DVD or VHS.
