Lewistown Public Library welcomes back regular hours by Kari Denison

Staff and patrons alike are happy to welcome back the regular business hours at the library.  Hours and services at the library adapted in mid-March due to the pandemic and have gradually resumed.

Patrons and the public are welcome to visit the library Tuesday – Friday from 9 am – 6 pm.  If the weekday hours are not suitable with your schedule, drop in during Saturday hours. The library is open on Saturday from 10 am – 2 pm rain or shine (or snow).

Several safety precautions set forth by the Library Board of Directors have paved the way for the gradual resuming of services.  Continuing safety precautions to note when visiting the library:  masks required (per Governor’s order on July 15), maximum visit time 30 minutes, children under 8 years of age must be accompanied by an adult and number of public computers are limited.

We ask that you continue to help us by social distancing in the library, staying at home if not feeling well, washing your hands often, and coughing and sneezing into the crook or batwing of your arm.

Again, we want to thank our wonderful community for helping to create one of the safest places in town.  The health of the community and our Library staff is our greatest priority.  We appreciate the understanding and support for the library during this time.

See you at the Library!
