Second Saturday library movie matinee to feature “Shrek” by Kari Denison

Once upon a time … the Lewistown Public Library offered free, all age movie matinees at the Judith Theatre – but it’s no fairy tale, as we’re back at it Saturday, March 14.

This week the Second Saturday Movie Matinee Series continues with a showing of “Shrek”.  Released in 2001, “Shrek” features Mike Myers, Cameron Diaz and Eddie Murphy.  This all-star cast takes the audience to a place far, far away in a fairy tale adventure.  The movie is rated PG and is classified as a kid and family friendly, animated comedy.

The Library Movie Series offers free, all ages matinees that take place on a quarterly basis at the local Judith Theatre.  Upcoming features are slated for this summer and fall.  This incredible opportunity is brought to the community by the Library with generous sponsorship from the Friends of the Lewistown Public Library.

See you at the movies on Saturday, March 14 at 11:00 a.m.  Come solo, bring a date or bring the kids and enjoy a movie in Lewistown’s own historic Judith Theatre.
