Library to Host 9th Annual Chili Bowl by Dani Buehler

What American music duo released the studio album “Sounds of Silence” in 1966?

That’s right folks, it’s trivia time! We in Library Land are excited to announce that the date for the 2020 Chili Bowl has been set. This year the Chili Bowl will be on Friday, January 17th. Doors open and dinner starts at 5:30 p.m. with trivia starting at 6:30 p.m. You are welcome to come on your own or with a group, but teams will be limited to 8 people. There is a small entry fee per person. The proceeds from the night go to the Library and help support our Summer Reading Program. This year we will have 10 rounds of trivia with 7 questions in each round. The themes for each round are currently held under lock and key, but we can tell you that the game will be fun and full of trivia. This is the 9th year of the Library Chili Bowl which has been described by some as, “the only adult thing in Lewistown I attend.” Intrigued? Our fundraiser, the Chili Bowl, is a night of good food, fun and frivolous trivia. Sounds fun doesn’t it. Well I am here to tell, you it is. And by the way, the answer to the trivia question is, Simon and Garfunkel.
