Summer Reading has been a BLAST! at the Lewistown Public Library. This is our final week of “Universe of Stories” and we are excited for our programs and the Summer Reading finale.
“Muppets from Space” is the Summer Reading Program finale at the Judith Theatre on Saturday, July 13 at 11 a.m. This event is a free, family friendly event for all Summer Reading participants.

Walking Book Club
Tuesday, July 9 at 12 p.m.: Adult participants meet in the upstairs meeting room ready to talk a walk and discuss chapters 20-22 of “Bring Jade Home” by Michelle Caffrey.
NASA @ My Library
Tuesday, July 9 at 1 p.m.: NASA @ My Library “Humans in Space” for Middles (ages 6 – 12). The group will discuss what life is like for astronauts living in space, learn about the International Space Station, and what it takes to be an astronaut.
Wednesday, July 1 at 4 p.m.: Wednesday Writers “The Writing Process” for Teens (ages 13 – 18) will discuss how to plan, edit, revise, and keep accountable with writing.
Friday, July 12 at 10:30 a.m.: Littles (ages 0 – 5). The 3-5 year olds will enjoy “Mousetronaut” by Mark Kelly in the Youth Area and the 0 -3 year olds listen to a short story, sing songs and play in the upstairs meeting room.

“Muppets from Space” SRP finale
The Summer Reading Program finale “Muppets from Space” is Saturday, July 13 @ 11 a.m. at the Judith Theatre. All SRP participants are invited for this special Library matinee. “Muppets from Space” was produced by Colombia Pictures and Jim Henson Pictures and released on July 14, 1999. The movie is rated G and is sponsored by the Friends of the Lewistown Public Library. All ages are welcome.
