WHILE IN THE LIBRARY:

Smoking is not permitted in the Library or within 25 feet of the doors.

Bicycles will stay outside, either in the bike rack or on the boulevard.

Skateboards and in-line skates shall be carried or left by the coat rack. Skates may not be worn in the library.

All animals other than certified guide dogs or other assistive animals will remain outside. They must not pose an inconvenience or danger to other library patrons.

Sexual misconduct, such as exposure, offensive touching or sexual harassment of other patrons or staff will not be tolerated.

Disruptive or unsafe behavior such as loud talking, loud audio equipment, screaming, running, throwing things, pushing or shoving, which may result in disturbing other patrons or damaging library property will not be tolerated.

Engaging in any activity prohibited by law or any other conduct that unreasonably interferes with other’s use of the library including physical or verbal harassment or threats to other patrons or staff, begging or soliciting will not be tolerated.

A person will be asked to discontinue the inappropriate behavior. If a person refuses to abide by this policy Library staff reserves the right to require the person to leave the Library. A person may lose the right to use the Library if violation of these rules continues.
