The deadline to complete the Census is September 30, 2020.

Fergus County benefits from substantial Federal funding based on Census counts.  This Federal assistance includes: education, fire prevention, medical, highway planning, construction and more.

Citizens have three options to respond: online at 2020census.gov, by phone at 844-330-2020, or by mail.

Individuals can complete the 2020 US Census on a public computer in the library.  The form takes about 10 minutes to complete.

Responding to the Census is a Constitutional Mandate.  Information provided to the Census is protected by Title 13 and cannot be released to other agencies or persons.
