Programs and Events-

Book Station:

July 13th will be our next Wednesday Book Sale from 2-4 pm. The Council on Aging will provide rides to and from the sale with at least a 24 hour notice.

Friends of the Library:

The Friends continue to seek new blood to help with The Book Stations Thursday book sorting and the twice per month book sales.  Currently “Friends” are earning money toward the resurfacing project for the Library.

Board of Directors:

July 14th, Thursday, at 2 p.m. in the upstairs meeting room.

Summer Reading Program:

The Summer Reading Program at the Library kicked of the first week of June 7, 2016. Participants were able to register and jump right in doing the puzzles, quizzes, programming, reading and the ever popular scavenger hunt. So far, we are having record breaking participation this year with over 200 kids and 100 adults signed up just in the first week.

Participants are able to sign up anytime during the summer and the program runs through Saturday, August 6, 2016. Thanks again to our many sponsors who make our programming possible.

Save the Date: July 14th at 6 pm we will be featuring Laura Pelon with her program, Music from the Front Porch. This is a free event! This concert of American music shows the importance of learning our local stories and music.
