Electronic Devices and MontanaLibrary2Go
If you are a recipient of a new electronic device (MP3 player, tablet, or e-reader) and want to use MontanaLibrary2Go, please be prepared with the following before seeking a library staff person’s help: Have the device registered in your name and know any passwords needed for downloading apps. Have a functioning email address. Know how to navigate around on the device and be sure batteries are fully charged. If the device cannot download apps, you will need a personal computer with internet access and a USB cable in-order to download software and e-materials. We look forward to assisting you.

The Book Station
Please note on your calendar, the next Book Sale will be for two days during the Winter Fair, January 30 and 31. There will not be a sale January 3 or February 7.

January 8, 2015 Meetings
Friends of the Library will sort books 10:00 am. – 12:00 p.m., followed by the monthly business meeting at 12:30 in the upstairs meeting room.

The Library Board of Trustees will meet at 2:00 p.m. in the upstairs meeting room. The public is welcome.

5th Annual Chili Bowl January 23, 2015
Gather your team of no more than eight for a rousing evening of food, friends and fun–chili and trivia, that is. The Chili Bowl will be held at Jack’s Hangar on Friday, January 23, 2015. Please pre-register your team. You may purchase your tickets from the Library or at the door. A $10.00 ticket includes a complete chili dinner and an entry fee for one person. This fundraiser benefits the Lewistown Public Library’s Summer Reading Program and has become a fun event to look forward to during those cold winter months. Get on your thinking caps and get those competitive spirits flowing.

Baby—Pre-school Story Time
Story Times for Babies & Toddlers, and Pre-school & Kindergarten-aged children will be held Friday, January 9, 16, 23, and 30 at 10:15 a.m. – 11:00 a.m. Babies and Toddlers meet with Nancy Bostrom in the upstairs meeting room. The older children meet with Lora Poser-Brown in the downstairs youth area.
